Student Registration 2022-2023

by Ryan Bell | Jul 07, 2022

Student timetables will not be finalized until Student Activity fees are paid and registration forms are completed. Anyone who needs payment options or who may not be able to pay student activity fees should reach out to administration; we understand that this may not be feasible for everyone given the financial strains of the pandemic.

If possible, we encourage you to pre-register now!!! Anyone who completes the pre-registration before July 7th will be eligible for prizes that include a brand new Chromebook, Secord Spirit Wear and Cafeteria $$!! You will also be fast-tracked when you come to pick up your timetable in August.

If you are a Grade 12 student, you will also need to pay $50.00 for Graduation Fee (non-refundable) before June 1, 2023.

OPTIONAL items for purchase include:

  • Yearbook - $45 if purchased before October 31st, $55 afterwards
  • Combination Lock - $5

You can pick up your timetable:

Tuesday, August 30th
Grade 9(only) 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m.
Grade 10-12 12:30p.m. – 2:30p.m.

Wednesday, August 31th
Grade 10-12 9:00a.m. – 11-00a.m. and 12:30p.m.- 2:30p.m.

Timetable changes during registration week will be permitted for the following:

  • Grade 9’s, 12’s and new students
  • Students who attended Summer School
  • Students with scheduling conflicts or incomplete timetables
  • Students who failed a course in June

All other students who wish to make a timetable change should request a MSIP (Multi-Subject Instructional Period) appointment at the Guidance Office.

All permission forms must be completed as part of the registration process. Included with this letter is the Verification form and the Information Technology Digital Citizenship Agreement form. Please review, sign and return these before students break for the summer.

Please find all ‘Permission to Participate’ forms (i.e. for Phys. Ed., Technology, Science & Family Studies” courses & extra-curriculars) for the 2022-2023 year on School Cash Online.

If fees are not paid in advance, students will be welcome to wait in line to pay cash, credit or debit (no cheques please) during the aforementioned registration times.
